There are plenty of great reasons to have cameras in schools and cell phones, especially pertaining to safety concerns.
But imagine being in the lunchroom in high school, slipping and falling and splitting your pants in front of everyone, including your crush, and that embarrassing moment gets caught on camera by other students on their phones.
And to make matters worse, that same embarrassing moment gets uploaded to Tiktok, Youtube, Snapchat, and the list goes on. Now, one uncontrollable, embarrassing incident has been shared with the world, and there's virtually nothing that can be done to undo such a circumstance going viral on the internet.
Such a realistic scenario can cause various outcomes, such as anxiety, the student refusing to return to school, or maybe even suicidal ideation. Unfortunately, students don't always feel comfortable sharing what really goes on at school with their parent/s.
If you suspect that your child may need someone to talk to or guide them along the way, consider soliciting a life coach's assistance. And if you do, don't assume it means you are failing as a parent. Instead, ask yourself, did you always tell your parent/s everything when you were younger, or did you confide or seek advice from someone else from time to time?
If you did seek guidance from elsewhere occasionally, it's likely your child does too. So, why not try to streamline where they seek that guidance instead by choosing a life coach you approve of?
Here at Mount Up Life Coaching, LLC, we pride ourselves on being transparent with our coaching process and offering parents a seat at the table to offer insight and support throughout their child's life coaching tenure.
So coach up with Mount Up Life Coaching, LLC! We look forward to hearing from you soon!
